Claire Morgan drew and painted directly onto stones, then worked with Master Printmaker Lee Turner of Hole Editions, experimenting with tone and colour to translate those marks into the final image. This work is the culmination of several months of experimentation, exploring simultaneous senses of communion and isolation, translucency and form, lightness and dark, the ethereal and the violently physical.
